Services
Over the past twenty years it has been All
Test's objective to work in partnership with our clients to
develop practical, cost effective solutions to nondestructive
testing and materials engineering related problems. This
commitment is supported by our staff of qualified technicians
operating out of our fully equipped facilities across Western
Canada. This commitment to our clients is achieved by the
innovative application of nondestructive testing practices. This
has helped develop All Test International into one of Western
Canada's leading Non-Destructive Testing firms.
Our inspection services involve materials
testing and examination of structures to ensure that materials,
components, and fabricated installations meet required
specifications. Mobile inspection facilities enable these services
to be completed at any location.
| Radiographic Testing |
|
X-Ray and gamma ray radiography of carbon steel and stainless
steel pipewelds, all weldments, castings, forgings and
concrete walls and floors. Radiographic Inspection of
pipeline, fabrication, storage tanks, and pressure vessel
welds as well as shadow radiography of pipe for corrosion
detection and wall thickness measurement. We have internal
crawlers for radiographic inspection of 6" through 24"
diameter pipelines.

| Ultrasonic Testing |

Baseline inspection on all pressure vessels and pulsator
bottles for A.B.S.A. (Alberta Boiler Safety Association)
certification. This includes vessel data and PSV data
photographed and documented on CD or viewed through the
'client login' section of the website. Certification of all
vessels, propane and oil storage tanks under the G55 (Alberta
Energy and Utilities Board Guide Series) program. Corrosion
surveys of pressure vessels, pipe systems and pipelines.
Shear wave UT for manufacturing defects, weld inspection,
service cracking and corrosion testing. Inspection of
machined parts and pins. Thickness and integrity testing for
hot taps on pipelines.

| Magnetic Particle Testing |
|
Inspection of welds, castings, machined parts, tools and all
carbon steel materials.
|
| Liquid Penetrant Testing |
|
Inspection of welds, castings, machined parts, tools and all
carbon steel materials.

| Visual Testing |
|
Inspection of pipelines, facilities and structural installations.

We have Engineer Certified Procedures for the inspection and
non-destructive testing of Derricks, Cranes, Lift Vehicles and
all components including wire rope.

| PSI SCUBA Tank Inspection |
We are certified to do annual visual scuba tank inspections
by the Professional
Scuba Inspectors Inc. (PSI, Inc.). PSI is the only full
service visual inspection company of its kind in the world.
Although it is not law in Canada, it is industry standard to
have a SCUBA tank inspected once a year. If it hasn't been
inspected within a year then it will not be filled.
PSI training is recognized Worldwide at the highest standard
of training by, among others: the US Departments of
Transportation, Treasury, Interior, Commerce, and Defense;
by cylinder manufacturers such as Luxfer, Pressed Steel Tank,
Catalina, Interspiro, and Scott Avaition; by the National
Safety Council: by the National Aeronautics and Space
Administration: by the Compressed Gas Association; by NATO;
by SCUBA training agencies such as NAUI, NASDS (Canada) and
PADI; by numerous educational institutions, police and fire
departments, and hydrostatic retest facilities around the
United States; and by the US court system as meeting the
definition of has been trained.
A complete VIP, performed by a trained tank inspector, does a
good deal more than look for corrosion inside the tank. A
complete and proper VIP is essential because a scuba tank
with problems is a disaster waiting to happen. The explosive
power of thousands of pounds of compressed air has taken
lives, maimed people, removing legs, parts of hands, and
other body parts, and caused property damage as well. An
exploding tank can literally blow the roof off a dive shop.
It is too often the case that when a tank is taken to a dive
shop to be VIP'd, the staff person not only is not a trained
tank inspector, but is not aware that a proper inspection
means more than removing the valve, and looking inside. If
you, the consumer, do not watch the VIP being performed, it
is difficult to know what exactly was done or if it was done
properly. One agency that trains tank inspectors is
Professional Scuba Inspectors, (PSI). Inspector training
takes about a day and teaches more information about tanks
than you might think a metal cylinder would merit. For
example, over the years there have been changes in the
composition of the metal alloys used in tanks, and the shape
of a tank or the markings on it might indicate that there is
a problem with it.
